As I mentioned in my post Brand Board Project, I had decided to add some colors to my logo and use less pink. On the top is the current logo and on the bottom is the one I am currently working on to replace the pink one.
What I still like about the pink one is the swirls. They add frill to it without being excessive. What I like about the bottom one is the crispness of the script against the white background. I also like the color of the font which is a deep maroon. And I like the pink ribbon. Still, it’s missing some pizzazz. This weekend I will work on adding some flair to the design on the bottom. I will also try it on a beige background to give it more of a vintage feel. Remember, this is a work in progress.
As I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve been working with Canva. I have found this to be a good application for quick results. But I prefer Photoshop. With Photoshop, I have more control over the design process and my designs are more original. I will be switching over to using Photoshop again, but I’ll keep Canva in mind for future projects!
See you Monday with an updated logo!
